Everyone knows all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, so why not spice up your next event?
When I’m staying at hotels, I like to see the daily functions list and will check out their itineraries. The companies holding conferences often involve a lot of seminars, special speakers, break for lunch, more speeches and then maybe a dinner; that’s it! No fun, all work.
Yet with the amount of murder mystery shows, scavenger hunts and improv shows we’ve done at these events and the amazing feedback we get I don’t understand why more companies don’t add these much need entertainment reliefs to their agendas. The attendees love it! We always customize it to suit the particular company and we incorporate it in such a way as to make the participants feel they’ve been treated special, different than their usual conference.
You’ll end up with a more attentive audience for the speeches and will encourage better attendance if you include say, a murder mystery dinner on the invitation. It can help customize the invitation as well with a well themed catch like; “everyone knows seminars can be murder, but this one really is!” or “This year’s annual conference has an air of mystery to it” or if doing scavenger hunt “Clue: You’ll can find the conference while whistling through the seasons – Answer: Four Seasons at Whistler” and then elaborating more on the invite.
We will gladly help with these arrangements as well we always coordinate with the chosen venue or have many of our own that we regularly work with that love having us perform in their fine establishments. You see them listed on the city of your choice under locations.
Another great way to really mix things up is to have say, a limo scavenger hunt or an amazing chase during the day and then a murder mystery for dinner, or why not combine a team building event based on your conferences theme and then a magic show followed by some hilarious improv comedy. The combinations are endless, but again, that’s where we excel, taking care of all the details and helping you decide the best fit for your occasion.
So go on, be the fun company and add some pizazz into your next conference or event, your attendees will thank you for it and you’ll be hailed as a hero!
